G Scale (Garden) Model Trains

History

G scale was introduced by LGB (Lehmann Gross Bahn) of Germany in 1968. The scale was specifically designed for outdoor use, with robust construction and weather-resistant materials. 'G' originally stood for 'Garten' (German for garden) or 'Gross' (large).
