Spielwarenmesse — Nuremberg International Toy Fair

Spielwarenmesse Nuremberg is where the model railroad year begins. Every January, the world's model train manufacturers converge on Nuremberg to unveil their new product announcements for the coming year. Märklin, Roco, Fleischmann, ESU, Brawa, and dozens of other European and international manufacturers showcase new locomotives, rolling stock, and accessories. Hall 7A is dedicated to model railways and model construction, drawing trade buyers, press, and hobby shop owners from around the world. While this is a trade show (not open to the general public), its announcements shape the hobby globally. Modelers worldwide await the Nuremberg news with anticipation each January.
