Wiring Steps

Plan throttle jack locations for easy access

Run LocoNet cable from command station to first panel

Daisy-chain panels together with additional cable

Install panels at fascia height for standing operation

Test throttle connections at each panel

Add wireless base station (UR92) if using wireless throttles

Tips for Success

LocoNet is a daisy-chain bus - don't create stars or loops
Use quality RJ12 connections to prevent intermittent problems
UP5 panels provide throttle jacks and status indicators
UR92 adds Duplex wireless capability
Keep LocoNet cable runs under 100 feet per segment
