TT Scale

A scale at 1:120 proportion, between N and HO, popular in Eastern Europe.

Full Definition

TT scale (Table Top) represents 1/120th of the prototype and runs on 12mm gauge track. While never achieving widespread popularity in North America, TT scale has a strong following in Germany and Eastern Europe, where it was promoted as an ideal 'table top' scale. TT offers a compromise between N and HO - more detail than N scale but requiring less space than HO.
