DCC Reversing Loop with Auto-Reverser

Wire a reversing loop, wye, or turntable using an automatic reversing module.

Wiring Steps

Identify the reversing section (the loop, wye, or turntable)

Install insulated rail joiners at BOTH entry points, on BOTH rails
3
Connect the auto-reverser input to your main DCC bus
4
Connect the reverser output to the isolated section
5
Test by running a train through - reverser should handle polarity automatically

Tips for Success

The isolated section must be longer than your longest train
Double-gap both rails at both ends of the reversing section
Some reversers need adjustment for sensitivity
Use a reverser for each reversing section
